1st time brown spotting

I am 13 weeks and having brown spotting for the 1st time. No cramping and I already have a Dr. appt. first thing Monday morning. Should I contact the doc on call, or wait for Monday? I am coordinating a big wedding all day on my feet and will be working tomorrow too. I'm a FTM so I'm kind of freaking out, but since I'm already seeing doc Monday not sure what to do. Any advice? I've read that brown spotting is common and not usually an indicator of anything wrong with baby.

    If its just light spotting I think you'll be fine to wait. If it picks up at all, I would get off your feet ASAP & call your OB. Good luck!

    Try and take it as easy as you can. And drink lots and lots of water. Good luck. I'm spotting at the moment too but mine is due to my SCH.

    I spotted pretty much my whole first pregnancy.  As long as it stays spotting and you're not seeing hardly any on pads then I wouldn't panic and just drink extra water and take it as easy as you can.  If you start seeing more or red I would call doc right away!

    I think you are fine waiting til your appt on Monday, but has pp said, try to stay off your feet as much as you can and drink lots of water.
