I have iPhone 5 and love it. DH does not like Apple and has a Blackberry that is dying. He's also looking for a new phone and has been looking at the Galaxy S4. He's waiting until they come out with the S4 mini which will be slightly smaller and should fit in his front pocket easier. I think it's coming in July.
His big hiccup is not having a physical keyboard.
We are with ATT but I think they have the same phones.
How can you not love your iPhone? I have the 5 and will probably not go back. The only other phone that (technology wise) is as advanced as am iPhone is the Galaxy. Samsun and Apple run cell phones right now. This is not first hand research. My hhusband is a tech geek and does all the research so I am fully trusting his research.

He's right. If you want the latest features and technology go with Samsung. Apple only releases bits and pieces of new features at a time so people have to keep upgrading.
I love my Galaxy S3, if I was ready for an upgrade it would totally be the S4.

DH has the Galaxy S3 and loves it. Great picture quality too. But it's a bigger phone.
I have a Droid 4, but it's over a year old so lord knows they probably have a newer version? It has a slide out keyboard, which I'm in love with. I know I need to get over it and get used to a touch screen.... but I just love my keyboard.

I agree with your husband...stay away from the Nokia. The windows based phones and Blackberry phones have been out of the market for so long and basically missed the boat. The app market is lacking drastically in comparison to the Apple and Android products.
If its in your budget, I would look into the Razr HD. The Razr HD MAXX is the same phone but basically 10 more hours of battery life. The Razr HD gets 24 hours of battery and does HD video recording and has the nice option of doing HDMI which alot of phones don't come with. It's a nice way of showing pictures and videos to family and friends. You can also display your Netflix and Hulu Plus on your TV using that port as well. Yes the screen is smaller than the S4, but Motorola makes their phones with quality parts not all plastic. I have the Samsung S 4. Yes I think it is nice, but nothing to write home about....
Your best bet is to visit a store and play with a few and see what phones you like in your hands. Also I recommend getting your phone in store vs. online so you get the customer support on setting up your new smartphone since it is a bit different going from Apple to Android.
