I am going to a baby shower for my cousin on Sunday...she just gave birth today. I am impressed that the shower is still on. 2 days after DD was born I was not up for doing much. Actually, I had a vaginal delivery and was still in the hospital for 60 hours after she was born.

We are going to a waterpark all day tomorrow with my entire family. It is suppose to be 90 degrees.

While I know DS will have fun, I am dreading the heat, chasing after him and feeling like a ginormous beached whale in my swimsuit.

The baby and I just walked the boardwalk while DH and DS1 fished from the beach. Then we all sat on the beach and watched my crazy boy running around having the time of his life. I feel so lucky to be living here. I was getting all nostalgic and poetic, so cheesy, but there's something about summer evenings at the beach.

I am having the babyshower that never happened on Sunday here at the house, Its going to be outside because i don't want 30 plus people in the house with premie newborns. Let the in and out up and down stress begin.

I just made Pillsbury cookies. DH is currently rocking DS to sleep so I am sitting here enjoying them hot out of the oven with a glass of milk.

We have to go to a party at 3pm tomorrow. it's 2.5 hours away, we have to drive right through nap time and the boys are not good car sleepers. DS1 got diagnosed with an ear infection today but seems to be okay, no fever just a little crabby.

After the party we're driving 2.5 hours to meet our new cousin (DH's aunt and uncle had their first baby).

I'm secretly hoping DS1 melts down at the party and we can leave after like an hour and just finish the rest of our drive.

DS has a friend over to spend the night. I'm waiting for them to get settled so I can eat the last ice cream sandwich.

DH is out for a friend's birthday celebration which started as a guy's night and has now turned into a couple's night. I highly doubt the birthday boy is pleased by this seeing as his wife is out of town. At least DH isn't the only one solo, but I'm irrationally irritated that I'm not there.

I want to pick up and runaway. DH, E and I just need something new. Sadly that can't happen until we have money saved, which we are working on, but everyone thinks our plan is stupid. It's making me question it, so I'm just secretly wishing we win 7500 on a scratchie so we can just leave. haha
I know someone who won a million dollars off of a scratch off. So start playing. ;. What about your plan do they find "stupid"?
We want to move to another state. Not for a job or anything like that. We just want to move. We live in New England and we hate it. Any time it comes up around our families, they tell us how stupid that is. Why do we want to move away from our families? Why would we take E and any future grandkids away? Don't we know that moving is just a hassle and we'll probably be back in a year anyway?
On mobile.... That makes sense. However I know quite a few people who did what you are considering and none of them regret it. I hope it happens for you.
I have just picked up and moved and I didn't regret my decision at all. In fact, that is how I fell in love with Colorado.

I think it sounds like a great idea. We picked up and moved cross country, and I have to say it was one of the best decisions of our life. It sounds like you are doing it right saving up. We didn't really save up much at all, and just went and it took us a while to get back on our feet. I totally understand the feeling though.

As for my random, DH and I got in a little spat this evening over something stupid. The end result is I told DH that he could take care of making the menu and the grocery list this week and that I wouldn't be helping at all. I'm pleased to have this off my plate this week.

Just got back from my niece's musical thing. It was cute although a little long. It was nice to get away from the baby for a little while. Plus now DH knows what I have to deal with all day lol.

Woah, your DH does that?! If I asked Dh to do that he would be like meal plan, is that a real thing or are you just making that up.

We have a date night planned Monday and I'm counting the days. I'm VERY worried about how my breast will hold up to being away from DD overnight but other then that I'm giddy. They may explode. I don't usually like to leave my kids overnight to be honest, but this time I'm excited. I think we need this.

We are going to an art museum just the two of us and then meeting my best friend for Dinner. After the we are going to a BIG book signing and lecture that will last super late. After the lecture bit we will be in line for te book signing and I'm looking forward to just cuddling, reading our new book, and talking for hors with no one needing anything from us.

Then the next morning I think we will have a nice breakfast (maybe in bed) before picking the kids up. I told one of my friends what we were doing and she looked at me like I was nuts. I guess art museums and book lectures are not romantic to most people.....
