intro and questions

Hey y'all, I'm a ftm. My LO will be 3 months tomorrow. I'm also a SAHM and am curious about AP. I think I get the general idea that the parenting is to raise a confident and eventually more independent child? How soon do you start, in these first months how is it any different than regular parenting? If somebody could link resources that would be helpful.

    Everyone interprets it a bit differently. I read Dr Sears' book on AP and it explained everything very well. He uses the Bs of AP; birth bonding, breastfeeding, babywearing, belief in baby's cries, bedding close to baby, balance and boundaries and beware of baby trainers. It's not all or nothing though, and everything I've read has stressed that.

    It starts from birth with the initial bonding, but it can be implemented at anytime-never too early or too late. If you google Dr Sears you will get the website, I don't know how to make links clicky.
