It is so frustrating to wait six weeks. I understand the risk of infection and DH and I are being good, but its really a lot harder than I anticipated. 3 weeks to go! I'm jealous of those of you who are 6 weeks PP!

i was thinking the same thing. I thought there was something wrong with me in the past. i thought i was born with no sex drive. Well I can tell you know i have one and i want it every time i see DH

I think people who wait 6 weeks for sex are lazy. Don't listen to your doctor and get busy!!!lol

Ya I am surprised to have a sex drive especially after labour but I can't wait, two more weeks for me!!!

Six week appt. is this Monday and I'm a little nervous. Definitely don't feel ready for the 'okay'. I felt better a few weeks ago; but maybe I've been too active, and I've hurt my healing. DH is looking good and certainly can turn me on when he's lovin' me up, but I'm nervous about the actual insertion.

I was released today and was scared but surprisingly it felt better than before I got pregnant. I had some stitching issues with my first and this time I didn't really have to have stitches but she gave me a few just to fix it from last time. It feels so much better. Whew!

I really missed sex for the longest time. DH was very patient but I tell ya, 6 weeks and he was THERE. In my face, THERE. He got what he wanted, but I'm so tired I'm just not in the mood and he's back to his old ways. I feel awful turning him down all the time, but seriously? Twins are exhausting and taking care of him too is just too much most nights.

I'm not to 3 weeks yet but feel like the being constantly tired is way more of a problem than any concerns about my lady parts. As soon as that baby hits the pack n play, whether it is 8 pm or 1 am, I try to brush my teeth as fast as possible and go to bed! Hopefully in another 3 weeks we will have a little more predictability but right now it is hard to imagine!

We have been enjoying "hooking up" like teenagers since delivery at the most random hours too. It's a nice change from the sex we had to try to induce labor. I have my appointment on July 3rd and I can't wait!

I am almost 5 weeks post but the twins were 8 weeks premature, they just came home last week. My pregnancy was so bad with 4 months bed rest I have zero desire, H said we can wait to when I was actually due in July to " do it again" Its too stressful around here to even think about anything but them right now.

I really want to have sex..but even just foreplay kinda hurts still, I am 7 weeks pp and had a second degree tear. I am so ready but my body isn't.

Another one here with no desire. I didn't have a strong sex drive before being pregnant, now it's not existent. 

Ditto. Never been extremely sexual of a person. Always wish I was.

I will be 6 weeks pp on thursday. I will be getting mirena at that time and even though I know its supposed to take effect when its inserted FI has already been told we are waiting an extra week to be on the safe side. I just can't do another surprise pregnancy.

That being said I can't wait! I have always had a high sex drive though. We used to go at it 2x a day every day pre-1yo. Apparently he has already asked gma to watch all the LOs for a whole weekend so we can have as much fun as we want. So excited to have no kids plus some alone time with him.

I'm in the minority I guess, idk whether it's pp hormones or what but DH has never looked so good. I had a cs though so no soreness down below to recover from.
