The Chicco Keyfit 30 is not sold in Canada. Legally you can`t use an American car seat in Canada, and you will not find a company in the states that will ship a Keyfit 30 to Canada. The only way to do it, would be to go down and purchase it in the states.
There's a government site about what is restricted and prohibited to buy in the us and use here. I'm sure I posted the link awhile back, or just google.

I am a Canadian transplant in the US. Canadian's have better safety standards on their car seats. They have better side impact protection, and anti rebound regulations. My older two were Canadian born, and my youngest was born after we moved here. I have done my research on car seats and standards.
You can't import US seats, period. Keyfit 30 isn't available in Canada, just the Keyfit with the 22lb limit. Look at the Snugride 32/35 or the Safety 1st OnBoard Air 35 instead.
But if you do this you'll have to get it back over the border without claiming it at customs. sometimes they might let it slide but generally car seats and cribs are on the list of things they won't let you bring in from the U.S.
Cribs I think are okay if they have warning labels in English and French. But car seats are no go no matter the language.
We thought about buying it, installing it and then just saying we had already installed it but I am a nervous nelly crossing the border to begin with and I am a crappy liar.
It sucks because the same car seats are way cheaper in the U.S. than they are here, and I don't imagine they are unsafe!
We have different standards and the seats (with two exceptions) are different, so's the labelling, height and weight restrictions, and rebound standards. It's not worth the risk and if you buy on sale, with a properly fitting seat, you won't be spending an arm and a leg.
They do check, fyi. The Windsor border crossing will confiscate your seats if you have a US seat (no maple leaf) and Canadian driver's license/registration. My aunt has had it happen because she thought they wouldn't notice. Boy was she embarrassed.
