Frustrated...vent

At the end of May, DD had a muscle biopsy.  They suspect a type of muscular dystrophy.  However, the results don't confirm or rule out a dystroglycanopathy....which means we put her through the muscle biopsy for nothing!  We knew that was a possibility, but I really thought we would get some answers.  I know people wait years for answers and that we have gotten so far in a relatively short time, but it is hard not to get frustrated!  Thank you for listening if you got this far!

    We've been waiting 15 years. With narrowing down diagnosis, you have to start somewhere, it's a crazy process of elimination. DS has had several biopsies with no results, so I get where you're coming from. This time they got smart and took a larger sample so if they think of something else to test for they already have samples on hand.
