So T has been put on breathing treatments 4x a day for the next few days. And he hates it!
I know several bumpies have had to do this with their LOs, any tips on how to make it easier? We don't use the mask, he will barely tolerate the mouthpiece near his face.
Re: Tips on nebulizers
Proud Mama to cleft cutie
Are you the nebulizer whisperer? Can you come over tomorrow and get DS to sit calming during his breathing treatment? I'll pay you in cookies!
Yep, this exactly. I've had neb treatments since I was little. When your child gets older, if they'll need treatments later on ever, have them sing with the mask on. I'd sing anything and everything and I'd be done in no time. Big breaths > small breaths.
Oh gosh, I hope we aren't looking at this for the long term...
But I will try next time with him standing, that seems like it could help, if he stays occupied long enough. Thanks for the tips!
