  I was induced about that early for the same thing and LO is 16 weeks. I haven't experienced exactly what you have but I have had a terrible time getting back to a good blood pressure. Prior to pregnancy, high blood pressure was never an issue for me.

  Just had a physical yesterday and doc told me that my bottom number(diastolic) is still considered high at 88. So she advised that I watch my sodium intake. I've never had to conciously watch my sodium before but starting today I will be watching a little more closely.

  Have you had an increase in sodium intake?

  Im dealing with the same exact thing now the doc tells me its my sodium intake also so im trying really hard to work on that! Ive never had these hbp prepregnancy either!

  My bottom number was 90 at the office. I have to go back tomorrow for a full physical, bloodwork, EKG etc. she did tell me to watch my sodium intake and see if it helps. I definitely feel a little better so hopefully I can control it by watching my diet instead of going on meds. Are blood pressure meds safe for breastfeeding?

  I am having the same problem. Never had blood pressure issues prior to this pregnancy and this is my fifth baby. Went on meds approx one month before DD was born and Dr took me off after she was born. Ended up back in the hospital 4 days after she was born unable to get my blood pressure down. When I went to the ER it was 220 over 126! I am still on meds almost 6 months later and really hoping it will go back to normal at some point And I have lowered my sodium intake to 1300 mg per day as recommended with the DASH diet.
