Good vibes please!

I just got notified that I have an interview on Monday with another university for essentially the same position that I interviewed for and didn't get at the university I work for now. I'm excited and surprised I'm even getting this interview cuz it's the state university and I never expected them to consider ME, but oh I hope I impress them and have something they want. So any good vibes, luck, thoughts, prayers, juju for me on Monday would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. any tips for a Skype interview other than dress nice to look appropriate?

    Eek! Good luck lady! My dh has conducted Skype interviews to hire teachers and counselors, so when he finishes up the mowing I will ask!

    Haha. That's what's funny. It is for ASU's polytechnic campus in Gilbert. I'm guessing they do have out if state candidates and that's why they are doing Skype, to level the field.

    Good luck! I have done a skype interview, and I found some great tips online. Watch your backdrop (make it a clean blank wall) and when you answer questions look into the camera, not at the screen. That way it looks like eye contact to the interviewer. That was the hardest tip I found to stick to, because I wanted to look at who was asking me the question. lol.

    How interesting!  I'd assumed it was ASU but the Skype thing threw me off!  You'll have to tell me how it goes!  I may apply to ASU in the fall/spring.
