A/S measurements

Hi Ladies! We had our a/s today and everything was perfect!! Little Luke was moving all around and the tech was amazingly helpful and told us everything she was looking at and that everything looked great. He measured at exactly 20 w 0 days and she said he weighs about 12oz. She said that he is on the big side, but not out of the normal range. I was so relieved. Even though I know that growth varies and can change, DD was an IUGR baby and always measured at least a week behind - sometimes more.

For anyone who has had the a/s already, how much did your LO weigh?

I had mine at 20w2d. Baby was 12 oz and was measuring 20w3d...except her legs which were measuring around 22 weeks! I should mention that I'm 5 10 and DH is 6 1 so it looks like she'll fit right in!

We had ours today. We thought we were at 19 weeks, but apparently, we're at 20. He's also 12 ounces. The size of a Coke can, she said!

Baby was 8oz. at our scan at 19w0d according to my LMP...the tech said that everything measured in range but didn't give specifics like if we were ahead or behind. My doctor did call back and said our boy looks great which is what I wanted to know. I'll be asking about his measurements at our next appt next Friday...I'll be 21w4d. Can't wait!

We had ours today. 18 w, 1 day and 8 oz. the doctor saw one indicator but he only advised more blood work though everything just came back negative but he advised against amniocentesis because he didn't think it was necessary in this case. Crossing my fingers this blood work also comes back fine!

For some reason my parenthesis didn't work so that didn't make much sense. I just had my second trimester screen last week and everything came back negative and looked good but we still did the additional blood work he advised today. He said it was more for our piece of mind but I still can't help not worrying a bit!

My best friend is due 3 weeks ahead of me and she just went in for her A/S at 20 weeks and baby weighed 13 oz. She said that it was in normal range as well, I thought it seemed big. . but who knows!
