clipping toenails

Anyone have any tips for how to do this?? DD is so squirmy now, it's basically impossible to clip them.

This has always been a 2 person job for us. DH distracts DS while I do the clipping. Sometimes we have to hold him down, he hates his nails being clipped.

I clip them either when he is sleeping or in his high chair because then he cannot see me and move too much:

I have the TV on when we clip toenails and fingernails. Its a nice distraction.

I honestly get maybe 2 nails clipped before I have to stop. Most days she has maybe one hand / foot all freshly clipped and the other are nasty and long. There is no good way to get them all done at once.
