in Pregnant after a Loss

I think. When I've had infections in the past, it was sometimes yeast, sometimes bacterial vaginosis, sometimes both.

My first appointment is Wednesday. Should I:

1. Run out tonight and Monistat it up (five-day or more, right?)?

2. Wait till Wednesday and discuss with Doctor?

3. Wait till tomorrow and call?

And in case you were wondering and don't mind some TMI: I've had sticky white, yellowish discharge, and itchy discomfort down there. Blech. :(

    Ugh, they can get out of hand REAL quick. Say options 1 or 3. Maybe wait till tomorrow and call and then see if they want you to start something or maybe be seen earlier. Lots of luck!

    I had a yeast infection at 7 weeks and it was not fun.  I say call your OB tomorrow and see if they can see you earlier or if they think it's ok to wait until Wed.  I don't think you should medicate yourself, in case it's not a YI.  They can do a wet mount, which can determine if you have a YI or other type of infection.  Good luck!

    Personally I prefer the prescription medication (Terazol 7 I think) It doesn't burn like monistat does. I've had 3 so far this pregnancy. I feel for ya.

    Thanks for the feedback, ladies. I know it's probably just a YI, but little worries turn into big worries, and now that I'm entering the window of time during which my last baby died, I'm having to repeat the mantras to myself more and more. I'll definitely call in tomorrow and do whatever they tell me!
