Had to share!

Lol DS Finnnnnnally ate breakfast today, and did it by himself with a spoon! This has been such a struggle! He eats hardly anything at daycare all day long, so I'm glad he got something in his belly. Now maybe he will actually eat at daycare lol. Wishful thinking!

  • That's awesome, we're still working with the spoon! what did he eat? I need more ideas to help him use the spoon more, we're just doing yogurt and applesauce right now.

My daughter uses a spoon to eat cold cereal with milk, yogurt, and oatmeal.

    OP, hope he keeps eating!

Oatmeal! Works the best for him as he is still learner also. It sticks to the spoon a little so it's easier for him to get an actual bite.

That's great! I hope he eats at daycare. My LO is a picky eater too and small victories help even out the frustrating times.

  • thats awesome! I just had a food victory with DS2 as well.

This morning DS2 had two pancakes, I was thrilled! He never really eats. He has issues with everything we ever make or offer. So much so that the doctor was getting on my case about potential sensory issues, etc. BUT this morning after I cried, he cried, and I decided on a whim to make pancakes. I took him out of his highchair put them in the living room, let him play and eat, and he ate two!
