Okay, so I do know how to do this, but my photographer's photos are protected from changing the size. So I'd love to see all your pics from this week!
PIP is Picture in Post. For folks who haven't posted pictures before, if your photo is on Facebook, click on the image, then right click and choose "copy image location". Then start your post here and click on the tree image on the tool bar. Paste your image URL into the URL box that pops up and adjust the dimensions (recommended to cut them at least in half, if not in thirds or quarters). You can also do similar things from other photo-hosting sites (like tinypic.com), if your pictures aren't on Facebook.
Re: PIP Thursday!
I am a nanny and I babysit on the side, these are all of my kiddos past and present on our wedding day!
My little sister did my hair for me over the weekend...I was SO excited my dreads are long enough to do something different to!
Me and my new niece Tinleigh Blessing.
MK--Love the one (huge) pic you were able to post. Am looking forward to the whole set (although I've also seen some more).
M and I each posted a little 3-picture set earlier this week. Here are a few more to give you a taste of our rainbow Love Party. Our photographer is also one of our dearest friends and she joined us for Sunday brunch and Monday at city hall, so she hasn't gotten a chance to post hers yet. These are from some family and friends.
Our colorful dining room where we ate and had our variety show (there's a stage in the right hand corner of the pic)
At the end of the ceremony, we played the theme song from Laverne and Shirley ("Making Our Dreams Come True") and skipped/danced through the crowd and then ran over the hill and shared this moment that we didn't know my uncle caught on film.
My parents, brothers, and me. We were waiting for the cue from the official photographer, so folks aren't all smiling yet, but I love that it captures the colors of the day!
Manada may want to post some of her faves later. And when the official photos go up, we'll share a link.
We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.
Our IUIs
with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.
Our IVFs:
IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response
IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014
BCPs and lupron overlap Stimmed: 1/22-2/2: Bravelle and Menopur (dosage ranged from B300 and M150 to B375 and M150 to B300 and M225)
2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition.
BFP eve of 6dp3dt; Beta 1 (11dp3dt): 110; Beta 2 (13dp3dt): 175; Beta 3 (15dp3dt): 348; Beta 4 (19dp3dt): 2222; Beta 5 (21dp3dt): 4255

***July 18, 2014 we lost our beautiful babies at 21 weeks gestation. They were born too early. Tavin Sara T. and Casey Elizabeth T. are beautiful and precious and we will love them and miss them forever.***

This is my mom, wife and I at PRIDE last year. My mom has our shirts made and hers said "Rainbow Mom" She is a little crazy, but I am lucky to have her support me and my wife.
This is awesome! We will have to take our Moms next year! Having such an amazing support system is such a gift
Gorgeous Pics Ladies!
MK where did the suit come from? We have been looking for one for A, for our own wedding. Just can never find the right combination of feminine and masculine!

MK - LOVE the wedding photos! You both look beautiful and so very happy!
Healz & Manada - So excited to see more LP pics from you ladies. It looks like you had such an amazing day. Congrats again!
I love all of the pics! Thanks everyone for sharing!
So, as for me, today was IUI#4, and it went really well! We switched donors before this IUI, and our sperm count was really, really awesome for frozen sperm, so we are really happy with that decision. The count was 77 million post-wash, with 43 percent motility. Those are our best numbers yet! Also, they had trouble inserting the catheter again (same as last time), but the Dr who did the insemination today used an ultrasound to help guide the catheter in, which was really cool b/c we actually got to watch the sperm going in on the ultrasound monitor. It was very neat! I felt really crampy right after -- which is normal for me -- but now I am feeling A-OK. Feeling very positive!
Anyway, I didn't mean to hijack PIP Thursday, but I wanted to explain about my pic for today with the background about my IUI. My wife and I have a little tradition where we take pics at home before every IUI. Our plan is that eventually, when we actually get pregnant, the pic we took right before the insemination will be the first pic in the belly growth series (day 0) and will be part of a baby book some day. Sooo... here is me this morning, pre-sperm LOL:
