RIP Bacon Mourn With Me

So we got half of a hog from a local farmer. We got pork chops, ground pork, some roasts, some ham and bacon. Like TONS of bacon. I used one pound the other week making biscuits and gravy and for breakfasts following that meal. It was fabulous. Like the best bacon ever.

Anyway, we split the pork with my grandma. She came over the other day and I unloaded it all onto the basement counter and she picked out what she wanted. She's not a big bacon eater so she only took a couple of packs. We had over 10 left.

We left for the day. DH found the entire bag of bacon on the counter in the basement. O.M.G. Over 10lbs I left out and spoiled. I don't even know how much...Oh my gosh I was devastated. I literally cried for like an hour (blaming pregnancy hormones.)

I now have no bacon. Please, please mourn with me.

Oh that is definitely devastating. My BFF instantly came to mind - the girl is seriously obsessed with bacon and would never get over something like this. Sorry Latte!
