After my ET, my RE had me recite to her my medications plan to make sure I had it down: "Progesterone suppositories & Estrace 2x/day and PIO injections 1x/day until 10 weeks, baby Aspirin 1x/day until 6 weeks".
So, I took my last meds when I hit 10 weeks this past Sat. I had an OB appt this Monday and my doc couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler. So she gave me an ultrasound and determined everything looked great. Baby was moving, heart rate looked strong, and she could even see the cord pulsing.
I've been a little uneasy that we couldn't hear the heartbeat, so I went back through my FET paperwork to make sure I stopped the meds at the right time. However, none of my paperwork states a specific time. It only says, do not stop until told to do so.
So I called my RE and the nurse said they usually tell patients 10 weeks, but that's because that's when they get released to their OB, and it's actually the OB's call when to stop meds.
I called my OB about it and she said they usually have people come off at 11 weeks. I asked if I should start up again and she said no. That the remaining couple of days won't make a difference and it might confuse my body to start up again after having stopped. She reassured me that everything was fine and said I can come in on Friday if I wanted and she wouldn't stop until she finds the heartbeat.
So I'm just curious, when were you told to stop your progesterone suppositories, estrogen, and progesterone injections for your FET cycles? Any experience you share would be greatly appreciated. TIA
Re: When did you stop your FET meds?
When I was released to the OB it was so weird to me to not be doing anything. No pills, no shots, no ultrasounds. Just /be/ pregnant. With IF we are so use to being a special situation it is hard to just relax and be. Hugs and best wishes.

I was told 12 w, but I started weaning myself at 10w (and sometimes I would skip a day or too). I went to another re and he said 10w. So I don't think it matters, I actually think the earlier the better because you don't want to expose your boy fetus to excess female hormones. I'm not sure if it matters as much with girl fetuses.
