Daddy on duty

So tonight we are trying something new. When i put LO to bed he got 6 oz instead of 4. When he wakes up for his first night feeding he will only get 3... From DH instead of me. I might actually get more than 2 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Maybe. Possibly. If DH doesn't fall asleep first. He's got the baby monitor though so I won't be able to hear LO even if he screams himself blue. I'm a little nervous about that part.

    GL! I wish my DH would do that, but he doesn't lactate, and he works graveyard. Boooo him. Here's to hoping it all goes well for you!

    Let us know how it went. Why were you only giving 4oz? DD gets 7oz bottles about 4-5 times a day and sleeps 7:30-5. Not sure if your LO needs that much yet but it seems to be working for us. Just a suggestion.

    That was about all he would take in a feeding. Every now and then he'd take 5 but most of the time it was 3 - 4 oz. We are starting a new feeding schedule today with longer periods between feedings so we'll see how he does.

    Got it. DD sometimes takes only 4 but an hour later wants the rest. Hopefully he will go longer and want more. I know sleep makes me sane and those first months when I only got 3hrs a time made for a real PITA mom.
