Apparently I'm on a roll this week.
Got all the bags packed for today and decided to take those out to the car before getting LO in the car. Managed to lock myself out of the house with LO still inside. Tried to bust through the door NCIS style, but apparently I don't have Gibbs' finesse. Realized I did have my cell phone in my purse in the car, so I called my dad, who came by with a key.
To add insult to injury, my DH left his heavy, metal toothrake turned the wrong way, so as I was trying to step around it to get in the car, I accidentally stepped on it. I got smacked in the face like you'd see in a Tom & Jerry cartoon.

One of my older brother's friends was babysitting me way-back-when & he got me stuck in the highchair. When he went to go ask the neighbor for help he locked himself out of the house. This was 1985/1986 so there were no cell phones to save the day. Neighbors had to track down my parents work phone, etc.

Wow! I had to LOL at this one. I can see myself trying to break the door in a panic.
In case it happens again and you have your purse, it is very easy to get in with a credit card. We had an electrician at our house and I stepped outside to let him out and locked myself out. He looked at me, made me promise not to tell his boss, and then in two seconds had my door open with his Sams Club card. I tried it afterwards and it is surprisingly easy. I'm definitely careful to lock my deadbolt after realizing this.
