Okay, so our DS was a terrible sleeper for the first 6 months. We got to a point where he was up 6 to 10 times per night and was taking 20 min naps. This is when we decided to bite the bullet and sleep train. After 2 nights of Ferber, he began sleeping 11 to 12 hours at night, some nights waking for one early morning feeding and then right back to sleep. It's been the best 6 weeks!!!
However, the last 2 nights he's been up constantly throughout the night. He cries to the point of almost hyperventilating until we go into his room, then he's happy as can be but nothing we do can get him to relax and go back to sleep! Within the last week, he's started crawling and pulling up and now does it in his crib.
Is this a developmental sleep regression? He's 7.5 months old...
Re: Sleep Regression?
This. I'm sure it'll pass soon. It really seems that when they are learning new things, everything changes.
