XP: Any luck with a carseat for a G35

Ladies, My husband and I have been searching for a carseat that would fit in his Infiniti G35, so far we are at a loss. Especially if we want to travel as a family in this car. Before we throw in the towel and look for him a new car, I wanted to see if anyone had any luck with finding an carseat for this tiny tiny tiny back seat. Thanks

  • The combi coccoro is the smallest seat that I can think of. Maybe a cosco scenera in the center, since it is narrow?

What seats have you looked at? The Combi Coccoro is the smallest, the Britax seats are also pretty small as is the Peg Perego convertible and the Chicco Nextfit.

  • We had the infiniti G35xs and we have the grace infant seat in it no problem.  We also had the britax boulevard in it.  I don't know what the problem is but it fit fine for us.  We had both professionally installed and I know they had to use a noodle to make the infant seat level in the bucket seat, but both seats went in fine, no problems.

  • What is the child's age, height, and weight? The cocorro fits great in tiny spaces but is outgrown quickly. You might also be able to fit a Diono Radian rear facing with the angle adjuster. The Peg Perego Convertible is fairly compact and can be more upright than 45 degrees RF.
  • I had an Infiniti G35x as well and used the Graco Snugride 35 in the center and then a Britax Marathon 70 behind the passenger seat. Both worked great and installed super easy. I wouldn't say it has a tiny backseat though, considering it's a luxury car. Do you have a coupe or something?

  • We used a Graco Snugride, and granted, it was snug, but able to fit safely. Not the most comfortable option for us but this was not the primary car used for LO, so it didn't make much of a difference to us.
