I am going to have to make a guilty admission to somewhat following the *cringe* Kardashian birth, but really because it is being reported she had a natural delivery.
Then, I started to get confused, and for my own education as someone very interested in natural birth, I was wondering if anyone could clarify this chain of events.
"She was admitted with medical complications and her doctor made the decision that her baby needed to be delivered. Kim had a natural birth," the second source said. "If Kim would have had very serious complications, her doctor would have decided to do an emergency C-section instead."
If she was admitted, and the doctor decided the baby needed to come early, how could she still go "natural" or do you think they mean vaginally? Or could the "medical complications" have been labor?
Any help in understanding would be appreciated. I just feel very confused on this, and I know without the details, it's hard to speculate, but I just want to know what possibly happened here?
Re: Is this possible?
I'm embarrassed to admit I have been wondering about this too.
I'm guessing she had to be induced for whatever reason, but then didn't have pain medication. Or they mean vaginally. It is confusing!
BFP #2 9/5/2012 -- Born 5/20/2013 -- Welcome, rainbow baby!
BFP #1 1/24/12 -- No HB 2/16/12 -- Misoprostol 3/10/12
I would guess they just mean vaginally, not med-free.
"Vagina" is too scary to say in public, after all.

Makes me feel better that I'm not the only one at least!
This is my guess as well. I seriously doubt she did not have any meds.
Which was a scheduled c section one month early.
