Intro & Question!

Hello! I used to lurk on TB when I was pg with DS who will be 2 in August, and now that I'm due with DS #2 in October, I've made my way back, but haven't posted yet!

Anyway, as stated above, my son is 22 months, turning two in August. We've been working on potty training him. Not pushing it too hard, but getting him used to the potty and he's gotten pretty good with it. He's started telling us when he has to go poopie on the potty, but not as good with letting us know when he has to go peepee.

So, about a handful of times over the last 4-6 weeks, he's taken is diaper off while in his crib (mostly nap time) and pees in his crib. He hadn't done it in a few weeks, so I thought maybe we were growing out of it as we got into potty training a little more. Fast forward to Monday and then again yesterday... he removed his diaper and pooped in his crib! Two days in a row! IDK what to do to get him to keep his diaper on and mostly not "go" in his bed!

Anyone dealt with this before? Any words of wisdom?

Thanks for the response. I was doing some research today and came across some suggestions as far as securing the diapers and putting the footed pajamas on backwards. I just figured I'd reach out on here, since we're all in the same boat with the Aug '11 babies! I was thinking maybe someone was in the same boat or had been previously, and would have some other ideas as well.
