Party: superhero theme?

Is anyone doing a super hero theme for DS's party? I can't decide if I want to do it now or wait until he's a little older and he and all his friends can dress up and really get into it. It would be more of a vintage style super hero party.
I also considered the little man theme with mustaches, but I feel like that's a little overplayed now or am I wrong?
I need to decide! His party will be August 10.

  • I think that is a cute idea, but you're right, I think it would be best if they were 3 or so, so all the friends can come dressed as their favorite super hero.

Look on pinterest.  There as so many cute party themes on there.  I'm doing a sock monkey theme.   My other favorite on there is little monsters....

I think the mustache party is cute, too.  But you're right... its a little overplayed.

  • We thought about doing it but decided to wait. We then thought about doing Dr. Seuss but decided to wait on that too. So we are doing a circus theme

I LOVE Pinterest, but the only time I have to look on it is at work. Some days, we are able to view it and some days we aren't. Grrrrrrr...

  • Honestly, we're not doing a theme because at this point it's more for family and friends than our son.  We're just going to have some balloons (keeping an eye of them of course), maybe a few activities for older kids, cook out, and of course have a smash cake.  No need to stress myself out for this one.  I'll worry about it when he's older and has an opinion on it.
