Introducing Myself

Hi, I'm Sarah! I wanted to introduce myself as we are now officially TTC. S.O. and I are both over 35. 

In May (2013), I found out that I was unexpectedly pregnant. It was a complete surprise. Having never been pregnant--and didn't think I could get pregnant let alone ever seeing an extra pink line on a pee stick!, the only thing that prompted me to take an HPT was a gut feeling, my intuition. We were over the moon when we found out, if a little shocked. 

In early June, at around 5 weeks pregnant, I had a miscarriage. We're still "not preventing" this cycle, but everything seems a bit wonky. I'm feeling a teeny bit frustrated.

Currently, I am on medication to improve my thyroid function. My Anti-M?llerian hormone level as of Nov. 2012 was extremely low (.32), though my Day-4 FSH level was normal at 7, as were my other hormone levels. 

I just started temping as the next cycle we're planning on trying to time it all right. But I haven't had a regular cycle (yet) since the miscarriage.

I'm looking forward to connecting with all the ladies here!

    Welcome to the group.  I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I hope that you get your BFP real soon.  Best of luck and know that this is a great group of women that are supportive and very knowledgeable.....we are all here for each other! ;)

    Me-41, Hubby-40.
    1st BFP-8/17/12!  Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US.  D&C.
    2nd BFP-2/13/13!  Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
    3rd BFP-5/22/13!  By early June, progesterone plummeting.  Another loss.
    August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

    AMA & SAIF. TTC #1 since Oct. 2010. DX: Unexplained. BFP on break after 32 months trying and 2 med cycles. Baby girl born at 40w0d!

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Welcome!  I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.  I'm new here too.  My hubby and I are over 35 and ttc for the first time.  Fx'd for you!

    It's nice to meet you Sarah! I am so sorry for you loss and the pain that you are going through.  DH and I had a miscarriage last August at exactly 5 wks so my thoughts are with you.  I look forward to getting to know you and hope that we both have good news to share really soon!
