Anybody notice undigested food in LO's diaper?

This morning I noticed cooked kale and raw carrots both went through and came out the other end the same way they went in.

    Happens all the time for us, but DS really only eats pieces, hates purees now, so I figure some go down without getting all gummed up.

    All the time. Ds has only had table food, so his diapers have always been, uh... interesting. DH found whole spaghetti noodles in there this morning!

    Yep! Especially carrots. LOL

    I thought it was strange, too, because I figured the stomach would take care of it even if he didn't chew it up, but I guess not.

    DD has a big problem with digesting corn. I asked daycare not to give it to her anymore because I found a crapton of corn in her diapers on 3 different days last week. She has a diaper rash right now so I'm sure undigested food doesn't feel good. She doesn't digest carrots well either.

    Actually no one digests corn. It comes out the way it went in for adults, too. Well at least the outer shell.

    At least grass can be seen as good for him, lol, I found a piece of a metalic wrapper.  FAIL. 

    Yeah we find carrots, corn, green leafy things.  I guess like others say its normal.

    Oh yeah, bits and pieces all the time.

     

    The best was the day I let her have some raisins. Apparently they re-hydrated in her tummy because the next day she pretty much pooped grapes. It was hilarious.
