Poop "artwork"

My apologies to those who have seen my post on facebook about this but I had to share with Mamas who would understand and appreciate the magnitude of this mess.

I went in to get Sam this morning as he was singing the song of his people and I looked into Vivian's crib to see a little naked ball of Vivian in one far corner, osund asleep, and her clothes, diaper and poop masterpiece all over every other square inch she could reach. I've heard stories of babies painting with poop but I never expected that it would happen at 10 months.

That was an epic mess and she looked so proud of herself when I woke her up to clean her up. She better believe that this will not be some new trick of hers or she will find herself sleeping in zip up jammies that are on backwards.

I love this little girl but the artwork....she could do better.

ETA: I edited the title to make it more accurate. It was less of an explosion and more of a handcrafted gift from my daughter.

I think that when DH got her ready for bed last night he put her in jammies that were kind of loose around the bottom so it looks like she maybe got her feet up the legs of the jammies and then kicked it until the snaps came undone. The she somehow managed to get the whole contraption off over her head before removing her diaper. The babies laugh a lot in the middle of the night and I just let them play and they eventually go back to sleep. I thought Vivian was having a little too much fun at about 3 this morning. I am going to be a bit more suspicious now!

You know, I wish I had! I was in such shock and Sam was screaming so I had to just go into action mode and get scrubbing. The sooner it was clean the sooner I could nurse Sam and calm him down. This one definitely one of those moments where I wish my husband had been home to help.

ETA: Chances are this won't be the last time this happens...I can sense that she had WAY too much fun and will gladly take another opportunity. If it happens again I'm taking pictures and video so that we can celebrate her artistic abilities at her 16th birthday party and her graduation and her wedding etc.

Oh my gosh that is so funny!!! My sister was caught squishing her poop in her hands and it was all over her face. So gross.
