Anyone thinking of the 1st bday?

I'm in planning mode for my older son's 2nd bday in late-August, and it has me thinking of my little guy's 1st bday a bit.

Wondering if anyone has any plans or ideas in the mix already :)

    I do...or I should say I am planning, a little bit.  I have a few ideas for decorations and the cake and stuff but it changes every few weeks :)

    One thing we've talked about is changing our Christmas tree into a birthday tree since his birthday is the day after Christmas - covering it with balloons and streamers, etc. It'll be interesting to try to plan a party with all the holidays happening.

    That's a neat idea! I haven't really thought about it, but I don't really plan on having a big party or anything. It'll just be family.

    I haven't thought much about it, but her birthday is on New Year's Eve.  I'm not sure how that will play out.  I can't wait for her to have her first bite of cake though!

    I haven't thought much about it as I am currently planning DD1's birthday. Her birthday is the end of July. Once I am done with that, I am going to start thinking about themes. I just started a board on Pinterest for it the other night.

    Yes, definitely in the beginning stages of planning. We already have the location booked, have since April. The small town we live in has very few places to hold a party and our house just is not made for entertaining indoors, so we knew we had to book early.

     I already have the theme picked out :) I figure the more I can get done along the less stressed I will have to be around the holidays.
