hi ladies,
just an update - the drool rash got much better yesterday, and then poor DS woke up this morning and it seems even worse than it was Monday. I reallllllly did not want to have to call the pedi, only because they seem to A) not really know what it is and

i didn't want them to put him on any type of prescription. however do you think it's necessary at this point? i am just so confused. it does seem to get a bit better when he's given a bath. however i am just at my wits end. i've tried everything, and even the petroleum jelly just doesn't seemt to be working. WWYD?

Pedi also suggested maybe she had a reaction to dyes in food and meds. Spaghetti sauce made it bad and fruit and their acid and juices exacerbated it, but not sure you're feeding lo yet. I switched to a sauce without high fructose corn syrup...that helped, though not sure why?
