I was getting ready to start Chloe in her crib at night, then my old college roommate texts me and tells me that a guy broke into her apartment the other night while she was home!!!!!

Thank god her mother was visiting and they were both okay but it's scary as hell. In college our ex roommates boyfriend got drunk one night and tried to break in and that was terrifying enough!!!

    Ugggh, that is one of my biggest fears. Makes me wish I had a big famous Doberman instead of a small fluffy famouscat. I'm glad your friend's OK.

    Molly you have dogs that bark and alarm you right? I feel safe at night, my dogs would bark up a storm and give me plenty notice to get crap figured out

    My dogs are lazy. Frequently they don't wake up until my husband is in the house and walking into the bedroom. My fear is them not hearing if someone came through the window.

    Never again on a one story house. I told DH I wanted two stories and he said 'you're not going to find one' and I looked, and found them, and he said no.

    Two stories next time. No negotiations.
