Re: Deep thoughts GTKY
What is a cause/charity you are most passionate about? Labeling GMOs. I'm a firm believer that GMOs in America are the leading cause of our outlandishly high obesity, infertility and autism rates.
What is the song that reminds you of your struggle through IF? Explain why. Adels Skyfall. I saw the movie just before my diagnosis and the message just seems right. Everything is crumbling but I need to stand tall and face whatever is to come.
What is the song that reminds you of your spouse/SO? Explain why. "Get buck in here" by DJ FelliFel. For the record my hubby and I are as white as white gets but this song just takes me back to beginning of our relationship. DH used to pick me up in his nice convertible Audi blasting this song and take me to super fancy dinners. He was the founder of a successful company at that time and I was WAY out of my league. That company failed 5 months later and then I felt much more comfortable really dating him.
What was the happiest moment in your life? There are bunch that come to mind but my wedding day or the day my dad told me I can have a pony stand out.
What was the hardest moment in your life? Waking up from a comma in the hospital and not being able to move the left side of my body at age 15.
What kind of PJs did you wear to sleep last night? a tank top and booty shorts... miss-matched of course.
I feel strongly about this too.
What is a cause/charity you are most passionate about?
Relay for Life. I walk every year with a team. Its actually this weekend and I will walk in memory of my mom who passed 9 years ago from lung cancer and for my husbands grandfather who passed from Colon cancer. And now walking for one of my very good friends and the owner of the salon I work at has stage one breast cancer and found this out last week.
What is the song that reminds you of your struggle through IF? Explain why.

What was the happiest moment in your life?
as of now.... wedding day ... until I have a baby and all that changes! hehe
What was the hardest moment in your life?
its a tie between losing my mom and my best friends 4 year old daughter passing away 4 years ago. I did the euology at her funeral and put the princess tiara and letters in her coffin.
and last question to lighten it up a little...
What kind of PJs did you wear to sleep last night?
Went shopping at TJ maxx yesterday and got a new comfy purple night dress. It was so soft and I love it!!
What is a cause/charity you are most passionate about? I don't have a specific charity, but I can basically get behind something that helps people in true need - things like Habitat for Humanity. I'm not really a supporter of charities that help kids eat healthier or that kind of thing.
What is the song that reminds you of your struggle through IF? Explain why. I don't know the title - It's the Maroon 5 song that goes "When the daylight comes, I'll have to go..." I heard it about 5 times the day before my last d&c. I knew that that was the last time I'd ever be pregnant, and basically all of the words could be applied to all of the babies I've lost.
What is the song that reminds you of your spouse/SO? Explain why. Good Enough by Evanescence. It's a beautiful song and I love to sing it at the top of my lungs in the car...so does DH.
What was the happiest moment in your life? Marrying DH. He makes me so incredibly happy.
What was the hardest moment in your life? The day we found out we lost our 5th pregnancy. We were at our appointment and had no symptoms of a loss, so we were blindsided.
and last question to lighten it up a little...
What kind of PJs did you wear to sleep last night? Light blue plaid shorts....no shirt.

What is the song that reminds you of your struggle through IF? Explain why.
This has changed over time, but lately it's been that song "Don't you worry child" by Swedish House Mafia. The first time I heard it was in the car moments after I learned our first batch of donor embryos had shipped. Hearing the words "Don't you worry child, heaven has a plan for you" actually made me cry and made me try to hang on to the idea that there's something really great in store for me at the end of this crazy path of pain. I kept hearing it during our miscarriage too, so that's the one that comes to mind.
