I have zero interest....and I honesty don't know how beneficial it'll be. From what I've heard from friends they didn't get much from it....what's the census??

I am going to, only because I know nothing about it and want to be prepared. But I see why people don't, because I know that all the preparing in the world can't get you ready for labor and delivery!
I just finished mine today. To be honest, I have mixed feelings. I thought that there was a lot of information I didn't know particularly about the stages of labor. I thought that there was a heavy emphasis on drug-free childbirth, although the nurse pointed out that 90% of women at my hospital get an epidural. I would recommend taking them, but I would go in there knowing that there is going to be info I don't/won't need and other info I should pay attention to.
I didn't. I knew I was going to have an epidural beforehand and didn't see the point. I'm glad we didn't waste our money. It went perfectly fine despite Audrey being "sunny side up." My vote is don't do it unless you plan on going natural.
I'm pretty dead set on having whatever drugs possible lol bring on the epidural! If there is a lot of emphasis on drug free birth than it may just aggravate me lol I'm not trying to be a hero and I know that I can't tolerate it....I can barely survive a blood draw!

I'm having a c-section, so I am definitely not bothering. But I wouldn't have either way. I know I'd want drugs, and I'm pretty sure I could get more/better info from books. I've taken two classes - baby care and BFing - and honestly didn't really learn anything I hadn't already read.
We skipped it. I am a nurse so I didn't really think I would get anything from it. DH was already super worried about it and I thought the classes would freak him out. I had no problem during delivery and never felt confused by anything going on

I didn't- and it all went fine.
between the nest, my friends, the internet, etc- I felt i knew enough.
My "birth plan" was to listen to the nurse and my OB - and it worked out just fine.
We have 1 class to go, and I still have yet to learn something I did not already know.
I think if you were planning on doing a natural birth - it's good to take them, but otherwise - save your time and $$!
