Meet the babies party ideas

So I'm due in December, my sister in law is also, and my other sis in law in January. Would it be ok if I put together a little party for the three of us, so that our family and family friends can meet our little ones? Not a gift giving thing just a get together. I have an 18 month old and my two 1st cousins had their daughters the same week as me, we talked about doing a party but never did. What are some good ideas for this type of party?

    What about a family reunion? Then everyone can get together and see each other, it doesn't have to be just about the new babies, but of course they would be there :-) 

     Anniversary
    When you've been married this long, you need a ticker to remind you.

    I think it's perfect...but I'm also a fan of meet the baby parties.  You really can do anything - probably in January after all LOs are born and the holidays have past.

    Just about any theme that works for a baby shower can work for a meet the baby party.  Some people just do cake & punch & other drinks.  Some do a bigger meal like grilling out (depending on the weather) or sloppy joes or fried chicken or something.  Depends on how much you want to spend and your location. 

    Pinterest is your friend.
