4-in-1 trike?

 So for Masons birthday I have been thinking about getting him a 4-in-1 trike, can be used as a stroller, steering trike, learning to ride trike, and regular trike.  Anybody have any experience with these or looked at these?  I am trying to decide if this would be a good 1st birthday present or not...

    I am thinking about getting this as well, since this is something we don't have from our older one. My friends got it for their one year old daughter and she loved it. 18 months would probably be ideal, but she won't get to use it if we wait until Christmas... if we give it to her next month, we can use it for at least 3-4 months this year! It will mean getting her a helmet too, since my older one will be all over it if we don't make her little sister wear one on her bike too :)

    I know I don't post often but just wanted to chime in and say that we have this.  We originally bought it as a 1st birthday gift when LO was about 6 months old but couldn't wait.  We wound up opening it and have been using it since LO was about 8-9 months old and he LOVES it.  We also take it with us and use it as a stroller frequently.  BTW Target had it on sale for around $85.00 last week, don't know if that sale is still going.

    R just got this for her birthday and she LOVES it! We wheeled it around the house and now the block. Really easy to steer and she puts her water bottle in the little cup holder. There are 2 other kids on our street that have it too :)
