I am bruised from my daughter pinching during nursing. She's just doing it for comfort, but I stop nursing completely, look her in the eye and say stop. It usually helps, since she learned stop in our Kindermusik class.
My neighbor's niece pinches. Usually when she is stressed (new people around that she may be afraid of) and when she is tired and trying to get to sleep she pinches. Usually she does it to the person's hand. She has been doing it since about 5 or 6 months old. She is now 18 months.

For real? Genius baby.
F pinches, too. He also snaps my bra straps, weirdo.

Yes!!! I will never understand how such tiny little hands can pinch so hard! She used to scratch and pinch me constantly while nursing but thankfully she's gotten a little better. Her new thing is continuously latching and then unlatching, grabs a fistful of boob and latches again. I feel bad saying no to her already but I've had to start. The nipps can't handle it much more. Lol.

Yes, the teacher dances and sings and says STOP along with the sign language, and we stop whatever we are doing. All of the kiddos picked up on it pretty quickly, it's amazing !

Mine does this too! It is new this week, but she is OBSESSED. I now take all straps out of her reach-- it hurt! She doesn't pinch, though. Sorry OP. I'd just keep those nails filed...
Re: pinching...anyone?
