Cribs comparable to Ikea?

There's a possibility we're not going to be able to get the crib we want from Ikea, and wondered if anyone knew of others that were similar in style, price and simplicity. This is the one we're wanting from ikea:

    why aren't you going to be able to get it from Ikea? Can you order it online?

    They *said* it should be in stock in 7 weeks, but I've been hearing lately about the Sundvik crib that it's going to be discontinued. One idea is it's going to be replaced with something similar, which is fine.   I checked various cities online and it's not anywhere. The grey-brown color IS in stock...so I'm contemplating that but prefer espresso as the changing table is espresso.

    I checked buybuybaby.com and one in the approx price range and style is still a couple inches bigger both ways and is $80 more.

    Just found an old thread from another board here saying the Sundvik is being discontinued...boo.

    But sweet! That old thread had a suggestion for another crib and now the $80 doesn't seem as bad because I love this one!!

    I think Ikea sells their paint. Could you buy a different Ikea crib (or an unfinished one) and the paint?

    I *could* but am really winding down on projects at this point. I've been trying to get stuff done (this is baby #3) with two other kids around, and I'm not really wanting to add painting a crib. In another season, that would work!

    I don't blame you. I can't do much (physically). I am looking forward to being done! :-)

    I just ordered the crib from walmart that was mentioned in that other thread that I had found. Yay! I am really excited about this one, even more than the ikea crib!
