hats on LO

LO used to put up with hats until about 7 months and since then he rips them off his head, as well as sunglasses. Anyone have any tricks to keep hats on?

None here. LO can rip off the hat even if it's velcroed under his chin.

Do you have the hats with chin straps? Other than that I've got no advice. I did see sunglasses a buy buy baby that had a Velcro thing that went around the back of their head.

Sorry, no advice here....Aiden does the same thing, even with the hats with the chin straps... I figure if I just keep putting the hat on constantly, then one time, he will forget about, and it will stay on!

Use ones with chin straps and when putting them on, use lots of distraction. I have some success keeping headbands and hats on mine that way - she notices when they go on, but if I grab her hands and sing a silly song or show her something different, she soon forgets. Might have to rinse and repeat 20 minutes later though.

No help with the sun glasses, Cooper HATES them! If I'm lucky they stay on long enough to snap a pic.

I have found that if a hat is too big or does not fit right, Cooper will NOT tolerate!!!

I put her hat in her when she is preoccupied with something and sometimes she doesn't notice it is there.

Well feck. I will try bigger hats and distracting home or just continuing to slather his giant head in sunscreen, thanks ladies!
