Hey everyone. I've been lurking and posting on some topics periodically, and thought that I should finally post an intro!
DH and I have been married for nearly a year, and have been together for over seven years. I am 23 and he is 24. We began TTC back in March, which is also when I went off BCP. I recently took a round of Provera to jumpstart my next cycle, since I haven't had a period since going off BC.
My OB wants to start me on Clomid, but I told her I wanted to see if I could O on my own first. We've also only been TTC for 4 months, so I'm not really sure why she wants to do that already.
I don't see her again until August, and I'm wondering if I should go ahead with the Clomid if I don't O on my own before going in to see her. She also mentioned getting an HSG done for me because I have subseptate uterus (diagnosed by PCP), and I'm pretty sure I should have that done first before we even do anything Clomid related.
Is this normal for an OB to want to start Clomid before a year of TTC?

Re: Official intro
Looks like my instincts were right when I was confused about the Clomid! I will probably wait until after one year to think about it then. Hopefully I can O on my own; I could when I was 10, I don't see why I can't now!
Since my PCP told me I had a subseptate uterus, I might discuss an HSG with my OB when I see her next.
Thank you for the advice.
