So, Lennox is a gp for me... Mostly for the nn Nox, but I feel like Nox is too cutesy... I just like the way it sounds.

WDYT of Knox as a standalone boy name? Stereotypes?

My grandfather, dad and brother are all named Knox. I love it, and think it's a handsome, strong name. Obviously my brother gets dibs on it as the third for when he has kids or we would consider it.

this is cute, but Italian names look weird w/ my ln ( it's very German). Also we know a super cute puppy named Enzo.

I like Knox as a standalone. I'm not choosing it for my own kid, lol, but wouldn't side eye someone else's kid for having it.

I like Lennox too, but Nox looks funny to me even for a nn.

That's what my mind goes to too, but Brangelina have ruined it for me. I do love the name Lennox though.

I am so sorry, showing my nerd here, but Nox reminds me of Harry Potter. I do like Lennox, however. And who says nicknames have to be a direct spelling off of the full name? Take my name for instance. There's Katherine, Katheryn, etc, and nicknames range from Kate to Kathy. If you want Lennox with nn Knox, do it.

this is a good point (re: spelling). Yeah.... The hp thing was why I was having trouble with the nn. I didn't want to say it at first and put in people's heads... But if you go there too, I know I'm right to avoid it.
