Hi Ladies! I guess it's about time I move over here considering my twins are almost 2 months old!
Samuel and Lillian were born on April 23 at 36w1d. My pregnancy was uneventful for the most part until the end (never had morning sickness, no contractions, twins measured on track, no PTL or cervix issues). At the beginning of 3rd tri I developed tinnitus in my left ear (ringing in the ear).
After going to a general practicioner and an ENT, I was sent to a neurologist. They did an MRI on me at around 35 weeks (try lying flat on your back at 35 weeks with two squirming twins in utero and told not to move for 40 minutes! Not fun!). The scans showed that I have an abnormal arterio/venous malformation (abnormal connection b/t veins and arteries near my left ear). The excessive pressure and flow of blood due to my pregnancy was causing the blood flow to pulse and cause the ringing. The risk was that the veins/arteries could burst and cause a stroke or aneurysm. My OB decided it was time to take the twins out to reduce the risk so at 36w1d I had my C-section. Samuel Vincent weighed 5 lbs 14 oz and 19.5 in long and Lillian Mary weighed 5 lbs 1 oz, 18 in long.
Both Sam and Lily were healthy but both were sent to the NICU for feeding issues (staying awake long enough to take bottle feedings). Sam spent 9 days in the NICU and Lily spent 3 weeks. Sam is now almost 11 lbs and Lily is 8 lbs. I went back a couple of weeks after my c-section for a cerebral angiogram and it showed that the abnormal arterio/venous malformation had closed up by itself, so no followup procedure was required!
Anyway, I'm glad to be here and look forward to reconnecting with everyone! Here is a current pic of the twins:

Re: Intro!
Tried to conceive on our own for a year before moving on to fertility treatments. Dx unexplained. About 10 months of procedures, shots, and countless doctor appointments, we got our BFP! BFN on 5 IUI's
IVF#1 - ER 09/14/12, ET 09/17/12: two 8 cells, BFP: 9/28 Beta#1 56.8; 10/2 Beta#2 284; 10/5 Beta#3 939; 10/9 Beta #4 4967. One baby on board with EDD 06/07/13!

Our IVF miracle, Baby Boy M, arrived on 11/8/2012!
Yes I am in the clear. It took about two weeks post partum for the ringing to stop, then the angiogram showed that the AVM closed up, so I didn't need to go back in for angioplasty or other followup procedures. Doctor said it was 1 in 1000 chance that it would close up on its own so I got very lucky!
