First - wow, thanks for all the well wishes.

The nurse over spoke and got me worried.  The midwife said no cysts.  She doesn't think it is thrush. If it was, my nipples would be bright red in addition to the pain. And they are not.  She thinks two options 1. I'm pregnant ( I poas 2 days ago and it was negative but I also poas 2 days before my doctor appointment and then found out I was pregnant with DS) or 2. I am ovulating.  The abdominal pain would be the ovulation and the nipple pain is hormones in relation to that.  I have never felt when I was ovulating before - I hope this is not something to occur every month!

So she drew blood for a pregnancy test. If it is negative, then she will send over some prescriptions to treat a possible thrust infection and some sort of lotion.  It is positive, then no prescriptions.  And a whole different treatment plan.

oh - btw - my DH surprised me by showing up at the doctors appointment. He knew I was worried so he came.  Which was great because we were able to chat with the midwife.

    FWIW I never knew when I was ovulating, or even about to get my period before I had J. Now I can feel it all. I knew this week I would ovulate, and two days ago I had pain in my abdominal area. It's kind of nice to know my body is working right lol.

    I guess POAS again soon to see if you're KU!

    I never even though of ovulation pain!  Its true though.  My first ovulation post pregnancy it felt like I was ovulating a bowling ball.  CRAMPS!  I always get O pain though, but that one was painful.  So that could have been it.

    I would have never guessed ovulation pain!! If that is it then my fingers are crossed for you that it's not as bad next cycle!

    Before I had Holden I was diagnosed with PCOS. So I was never actually ovulating but since giving birth I have had a period every month since last October and I can definitely tell when I am ovulating which is a wonderful thing for me to feel since I had such trouble conceiving Holden. I love knowing my body is working! And I also get breast and nipple pain during that time.
