"First" Father's Day

It pissed me off on Mother's Day, and it's pissing me off again today. Just sayin'.

My beautiful Ella/ToT arrived 10/10/12.

    I'm glad I haven't heard anyone say that to mh today. Maybe they all got the point by my reaction at Mother's day that it is not an ok thing to say.

    DH referred to today as his "first Father's Day".. I corrected him, and said it's not your first.. he then said, "It's the first one where other people recognized me"... my heart hurt for him..
    Loss #1: 18w5d.. D&E 04Mar03 BFP #2: Jun2011.. missed miscarriage. D&C 08Jul2011 8w4d. BFP #3: Nov2011.. Our Rainbow Baby!!! DS Born: 15Jul2012! BFP #4: Nov2012.. 2U1 - DS2 born 12Jul2013.  BFP #5: 01Jan2014..3U3!!

    I made the distinction to people that it may be his first "official" Father's Day, but it's by far not his first Father's Day. He became a father 3 years ago when I first got pregnant.

    I agree it does suck.  We each got two cards on those days. One from each of our DDs. It is very hard to find an appropriate card for a mom/dad from an angel baby. :(
