Going home outfit

So I have been through this before but completely forget what I wore home after my first CS. I already have the granny panties, but will I be able to wear yoga pants or should I find a little sundress to wear home?

  • I would go with a sundress. I think that is what I will do

  • I packed a dress. I'm sure the seatbelt will feel just great without adding a waistband to it! When is your cs?

  • I wore home yoga pants. Maybe try both .

  • I wore yoga pants both times. The waistband was much higher than my scar and they were loose anyway.

  • Mine was in the winter so I had to bundle up. Wore yoga pants and a big sweater.
  • yoga pants w/ the rolled waistband
  • Yoga pants.  I'm two weeks post c section and can't imagine wearing a sundress even now.  The swelling is just resolving.

  • I wore a dress. My only regret was that it wasn't a tad longer for the wheelchair ride to the car.

I had my c-section in early march. I still wore a dress. It was a long sleeved/maternity dress. There was no way I was going to wear pants.

I don't see the problem with taking both outfits. Then you can wear whatever you feel comfortable with.

My legs were so swollen with fluids after my C section that it was very hard to get my pants on for several days because they were too tight in the legs. I would recommend a dress. It wasn't until a week or so after my surgery that my swelling went down enough to wear my pants comfortably.
  • yoga pants and a t shirt. I wore the mesh panties the hospital had bc of the over size pad I had to wear. And flip flops that could barely stay on my feet since they were super swollen. I didn't care what I looked like I wanted to get home and lay in my own bed

I wore a dress. I didn't want anything near my incision for the first couple days.

  • I wore maternity yoga pants, but it was cooler weather.  Also flip flops, because my feet were too swollen to wear anything else.  I basically didn't lose any weight until after I got home because of the water weight gain, so I dressed like I was still pregnant for a couple of weeks.
