What is your opinion on...

Going to a restaurant with friends while they sit at the bar after supper hours? The reason I'm asking is cause one of my best friends is coming from out of town and we usually all get together and do something. She's only going to be getting in town around 89pm and they made plans to go have an appetizer and some drinks. She's insisting I go, but I honestly feel weird about it, even though I can sip on something tasty..which would be mainly sugar if I get a virgin drink but I just feel weird being 6 months pregnant sitting at the bar while my friends are taking shots of tequila. I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm giving into a drink while pregnant, even though its no ones business. Just basically wondering, would you stay behind or go along to visit with a good friend?

I would absolutely go!! I'd probably even get a glass of wine or sneak a sip or two of a friends drink just for taste lol.

I would so go! Go have fun with your friends, who cares if your pregnant? You should still have fun without drinking! And who cares what anyone else thinks about the fact that your pregnant sitting at a bar!

I would go for sure! Just because you're at a bar doesn't mean you're drinking, and I really doubt anyone will think you are. Go have fun with your friends!

Yep I'd go plus people always assume the pregnant one is the designated driver not joining in on the drinking.

I would def go! Enjoy yourself before LO gets here. I think it's worse to go out with a baby at home, then with one in your belly. Just my opinion.

Go have some appetizers and get something tasty to drink! Don't worry about what other people think you'll most likely enjoy yourself and being with all your friends!

its not a crime to have fun while u are pregnant lol go have fun!! i did and had some sweet tea while friends drank and it was still fun also thought it was funny how people looked at me like i cant have fun just because im pregnant who care what they think we have the right to go out and have fun as long as its not hurting LO

I'd go! And I'd definitely get a virgin drink...mmm now I want a virgin peach daiquiri [well, I want the real thing, but it still tasted good]! I've gone in the liquor store and bought whiskey for H a couple times with no funny looks.
