Embarrassed by baby in a meeting!

I was sitting in a meeting with people I didn't know and LO was kicking so hard my belly was moving and people noticed!!! It was very cute but a little embarrassing. I have noticed my belly twitch before but never like that. I had a jolly rancher before the meeting and I guess it made him nuts!!

Anyone else had any embarrassing baby moments!?

That happens to me all the time, but its not embarrassing..... Not like peeing your pants! Or having lots of gas, which these days seems to be uncontrollable!!

Another person who thinks that is not at all embarrassing. Babies kick and for most people it's actually a pretty neat thing to see.

Now farting loudly in the middle of a meeting would qualify as embarrassing, at least IMO.

I don't think I would be necessarily embarrassed just funny about the attention because of my job. I was in a meeting today and he was kicking so hard under my rib that I yelped at one point haha

I don't like being the center of attention so I can see how she might get a little self conscious. I got stuck between the candy display and the grocery cart at the checkout yesterday. I could just feel the eyes of the people in line watching me try to wiggle out of that one.

I don't think it's odd to say its embarrassing.... I don't think she meant she was embarrassed about her baby kicking or about being pregnant, just that people pointed it out. I understand what you mean! It's like.... I wonder how this person feels about the fact that I look like I'm hiding a kitten in my shirt! When I was pg with DS, he would kick so hard that everyone would see through my tank top, scrubs, and fully buttoned lab coat lol. And DS2 is quickly headed towards the same!!!!

that's not embarrassing. Embarrassing is snissing at work, or trying to get your pants off to pee and the kid kicks your bladder sending pee every where. Both have happened to me, but not both during this pregnancy...yet

I dont like being the center of attention so it was embarrassing to me! Embarrassing in a funny way though, not a morifying way like some of your examples!

I know what you mean. A few weeks ago I was presenting at a conference and LO got the hiccups. I did my best to present, but if was tough to stay focused. I am a FTM, so it really through me for a loop.

I love this post! All of these stories are so real, and although what makes one person laugh may make another self conscious, we're all living the moments and get what others are experiencing... Call me sentimental today. I agree it can make you feel self conscious at the imperfect moment, but remember most people are just in awe
