Boy. You know it's time to switch to maternity pants when your non-zipper/buttoned, stretchy waist band work pants feel tight. Looks like I'll be making the switch tomorrow. Anyone else moving to maternity pants?
Since I quit smoking in October I've gained about 20 lbs and I just realized recently that most of my pants don't fit. I'm sure the first tri bloat isn't helping with that either. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to go out and buy a pair of maternity pants, because I don't see the point in buying any the next size up when in a few weeks I won't be able to wear them anyway.

But if you do, you'll have pants to wear PP. with my first I couldn't fit into any of my normal clothes after I had him, so I bought transition clothes. Well, I'm still in those transition clothes. I was just getting to the point where I could wear my normal clothes, then got pg, so I figured I should just keep wearing the transition stuff since its loose and comfy!
Yes - I am also making the switch - and I'm at the same point as you.
I have some pants that are still loose enough so I'll continue to wear those for awhile but I'm starting to integrate-in my maternity pants this week - I wore maternity jean capris this weekend and I was so comfy I decided it's time.
I'm about two weeks behind you but this bloat is enough to make me want to switch!, lol I've been getting away with wearing dresses most of the time though.
I sucked it up and switched last Thursday, they're a bit big still and I have to pull them up a lot, but the whole rubber band thing wasn't working for me at all! At least i'm comfortable!

I might be a little early for it but I started wearing my maternity capri's today. Feels so much better than having to walk around with my pants unbuttoned...lol
I'm already using my Bella Band with some jeans, depending on where the waist hits. I feel fine standing up, but when I sit down the button pushes in and it's so uncomfortable. I'm hoping to make it through the summer with maxi dresses and my Bella Band and not buy new maternity jeans until fall. (All mine are way too small, I was a twig in my last pregnancy)
I'm trying to really hold off on digging out my clothes bin from the attic. So I've been living in dresses lately. Oh so much more comfortable than my work pants right now. And I'm only up 2 lbs.
Im' living in dresses, but I did by some pants over the weekend. I figure once I start to feel better, I might actually care enough to dress up for work again and there will be no buttons!
I lost 20 pounds in the past few months before I got pregnant, (size 6 to size 0) and am so glad I kept all of my size 6 clothes! I am hoping to just move up to them, as well as living in maxi dresses as a PP mentioned. Also - I was peeking in Gap Maternity yesterday and they were having an amazing sale - 50% off the sale prices! So, I got two black jersey dresses, a short and a long that I can dress up a million different ways, for FORTY dollars total!

Yes! I also lost a bunch of weight so all my shorts from last summer are two sizes too big. There is room to grow in them now. Also, awesome sale at Gap!

I was in a mood this morning so I wore my maternity jeans to work today.
I was not in the mood to deal with tight casual work pants today.
I am with you. I need to go buy some maternity pants like yesterday. I tried Target and they didn't work for me at all.

I don't understand maternity clothes haters. I love them.
