Period already????

Two weeks post c sec and I feel like this sudden bleeding is my period......it's heavy with cramps. The past 4 to 5 days I had no bleeding at all. Anyone else get their prd that fast ? I'm not breast feeding.

    It could be your period or still the recovery. If you do too much, you're more likely to bleed.

    Sounds like PP bleeding still. It will come and go-mine did for 8 weeks, and the more active I was, the worse the bleeding was.

    At 5 weeks pp I vacuumed and thought I hurt myself because the next day I started bleeding. I hadn't bled since 3 weeks pp. I went to see my midwife and she said everything looked good and that it was just my period. Sure enough, it only lasted 5 days and came back 29 days later. I was breastfeeding too.

    I think yours is too early to be your period though. You would have had to ovulate just a day or two after birth. Which, seems unlikely.

    I don't think it's your period already. Likely like PP said its your uterus contracting down and also your probably over doing it cause your at the point in your recovery that your starting to feel better and wanting to do more. At least that was my experience. I am nearing the 6 week mark and am still bleeding red sometimes when I do too much.
