What's the cutest thing your LO does?

In the last month DS has gotten so freaking cute with the things he does. My favorite thing is when he picks one of his favorite toys (he has 3 favorites and they're all red) and will literally hold onto it all day. When he crawls, he does it with one hand so he can hold the toy with the other. He takes it into the bath, holds it when he's in the highchair, and releases it the moment he falls asleep (but picks it up again the second he wakes up). I love his little preferences.

People keep asking what to get him for his birthday, and I'm just like, any plastic toy he can carry in one hand, preferably red. LOL.

  • Awwe! That's so cute. K doesn't have any real toy preferences yet but I keep hoping he will. I love when babies have that special toy they carry around.

Kellen does so many things I find adorable that its hard to choose!! Hmmm... I'd say the cutest thing lately is how he collects all his pacis in a pile in his crib when he wakes up from a nap or from bedtime. I will hear him stirring and check the monitor and he will be sitting there collecting all his pacis up (we throw about 6 or 7 in his crib so he can find them when he wakes at night). He will store them all in this cute little pile between his legs and just talk to himself and hum a little tune as he gathers them up. And then, when I go get him, we count them all out one by one and he gets so happy and excited! It's going to be an ordeal breaking him from his paci habit! Luckily he only takes one at night or when he is fussy in the car.

  • I think LO is starting to say Hi.  I'll say hi and he says something that sounds a lot like hi!

  • I love how charlie will find the longest thing she has and try to drag it around. The other day MH had draped some pants over the back of a chair and she grabbed a leg and pulled them off the chair and started across the room. She also has those walking ducks on a string that go "walk walk walk walk walk," but she tries to lift them up too high and falls on them.

This last weekend we went to eat with my mom and aunt and Charlie had applesauce. After she took a bite my aunt would get the happy, eating face, smack her lips and go mmmmmmm, and Charlie would repeat it back. Whenever she took a bite she would immediately look over. She also has hidden her pacis around the rooms she's contained in. Every now and then I'll see her wandering around with one after I took away her other, and I'll think, "Where did that come from?"

  • Camden has started giving us kisses when we ask and he gets sooooo giggly after!

He has also started scrunching up his face and snorting like an angry pig it is hilarious!!!
  • DD recently learned to share so she will extend something out to you and say "te" (ten - spanish for "here"). It's especially cute when she does it to her brother.

DS is so expressive with his eyes. When we tell him not to do something he closes his eyes and blinks fast. Or if we offer him food and he doesn't want it, he will purse his lips, close his eyes and turn his head to the side.  Likewise if you give him something he likes, he will give you the biggest "thank you" grin with nose crinkle and squinty eyes!

It's also really cute when they both show affection towards each other, like DS will lean in try to hug or kiss DD :)  Melts my heart!

  • How can I pick just one? Aside from her amazing facial expressions, Taylor does a ton of other cute things! She LOVES to be chased and to chase you. She knows what it means when I say, "Momma's gonna GET you!" and she'll grin really big and totter off as fast as she can so I can chase her. She loves to pretend to be on the phone and will put the play phone up to her ear and go "Ha?"  if you ask her to say Hello. We like to have screaming matches when she's being particularly roudy. She'll yell really loud, look at me, I'll yell really loud, she grins and yells back...and so on.

  • Owen loves to feed H and I. He also loves "sharing". He will spend a half hour just handing me toys. Though my favorite new thing is if I'm sitting on the floor he will crawl to me and give me a bear hug. Sqweee!

  • Lily has a bit of a reputation for being the "little lady"... my best friend calls her the wood sprite and she just has a way of seeming dainty and girly all the time.

Except when she eats.  Then she's like a trucker after 12 hours without a meal and she sometimes *screams* if she runs out of food on her tray.  I hate that screech! So I will look at her and admonish with a "Lily!!" and then it's like she remembers she is supposed to be ladylike and she squishes her head down, tilts it to the side, and just coyly smiles.  Words don't do it justice but I haven't been able to get a photo!  Kills. Me.

  • I can't stand all the adorableness on this thread!!

Anna has started "reading" to herself and to us. She will set a book down on the ground and then slowly turn the pages while babbling the whole time. She's got all the inflections and pauses in there - it's adorable.

She also has recently figured out how to get her activity table to play her favorite tune (Helllll-ooooh, the phone is ringing so I say hellll-oooh!). So she'll push the button and then whip her head around to make sure I'm looking then get the biggest smile on her face and then start bouncing and dancing.

  • Whenever the phone rings Joshua looks over at it and says "hi". He also takes my cell phone and holds it to his ear and says "Nana" and then hands me the phone to say "hi".

  • Pretty much everything Cooper does is cute. Lately when he is done nursing, he gives me this huge grin with his nose scrunched like to say Thanks, ma, that really hit the spot. Then he signs milk. I acknowledge that it was indeed milk and he grins again. So cute!
I also love how when he is ready to sleep he pulls his blanket from his crib and snuggles on it. So darn cute!

  • The cutest thing Alton is doing right now is when I say, "what does the cow say? " He says moooo. So cute! He also says puppy which is also adorable!!
  • Ok, this might be a little weird but I find it HILARIOUS when she does it. My DD gargles my breast milk when she nurses. If I am nursing her for a nap or bedtime, she will latch for a few seconds, let go and start gargling until it is gone. Then she goes back in for more. If I laugh, and I almost always do she will continue until I put her down. I think it is her way of trying to stay awake because she knows I react to it.

Kinda gross, but I think it's funny, random and cute. And her giggles between gargles makes it even cuter.
