acne... NOOOO!

My face looks like a war zone!

I have heard about tea tree oil, but what about face wash... Are there any good brands out there that WORK and are safe for baby?

help- please!

Re: acne... NOOOO!

  • I recommend checking out a health food store or also checking out the Environmental Working Group's Skin deep database which rates different products on their safety in terms of toxins etc. I have a face wash that's working pretty well, it's the Desert Essence thoroughly clean with tea tree oil. I like it and it's rated well on the site above for being safe.

  • I started using Burts Bees regular face wash and its working as well as my salicylic acid Nutragena so far.  I also use St Ives original face scrub a couple times a week.

  • I bought the Belli stuff that people have been talking about on other boards/online, and we'll see how that works. Should come in on Wednesday.

If that doesn't work, I'm going back to Noxzema to see if that will work.

Thank you for this post! I was just about to start a thread on this-but decided to do a quick search first. Somehow I missed it yesterday!

My face looks that of teenager in the throes of puberty...even worse my neck has also completely broken out. With my last pregnancy I did not experience this lovely symptom. My saving grace is I live in a cool climate and scarves are fashionable here...so I can try to cover up.

Ugh. Off to research some of the recs...
