A few weeks ago, someone was saying that LO (I think it was a boy) was having a very fussy night so she took her shirt off and gave it to him to cuddle and he calmed right down. Who was that?
I think it was someone else - I specifically remember them saying that they were desperate and just took off the shirt they were wearing and gave it to LO.
Anyway, if we can think of it I just wanted to thank them! I did the same this weekend on night one of Ferber and it worked like a charm. She's been cuddling with it every night now. But the pillowcase is a great idea too!
I use a burp cloth (dirty ish - nothing that was spit up on - but milk wipes and my scent) and have since she was 4 months old - it saves us at daycare for sure

I did it for daycare to get my DD to drink bottles. I'd send her with a shirt every day. A friend suggested it and I am eternally grateful to her.
Since DD is back on an "I hate bottles" strike, I suppose I should try it again. I totally forgot about it until reading it here - thank you!
